Project Information

Description

Booster Buddies is a web browser and PC safety educational game for children 4 and up. It was developed as a research and promotional game by the Game Design program at George Brown College in collaboration with the Windsor University and Magna International. Booster Buddies focuses on learning vehicle safety and public health information. The game features a tracking method that records how children learn and adapt. The narrative is focused on the two main characters, Oto and Olli, who show children around the Safety Town. Children learn through mini-games designed to teach them public health behaviors and record the method of success and speed of learning results. Children will find the mini-games by using a car avatar to explore a cartoon urban environment.
